WELCOME to the College Bound for Kids (CBFK) Summer Program. The staff of CBFK looks forward to the opportunity to actively engage your child in meaningful tutorial and recreational activities.CBFK is an academic after school tutorial program during the school year and an academic summer tutorial program during the summer.Research shows that summer tutorial programs serve as an effective means of keeping children safe and supervised while providing academic assistance. CBFK is a well-organized and safe program that will greatly benefit your child.Your participation in the College Bound for Kids Summer Tutorial Assistance Program is extremely appreciated.
Early Bird Special
Sign up before April 30th and receive
1 child: $15 off per week
2 children: $25 off per week
3 children: $35 off per week
Registration fees and a $50 deposit per family for each week your children
attend must be submitted to secure your discounted rate.

Camp Hours: 7:00 am - 6:00 pm
Estimated departure times for major field trips: 8:00am - 9:00am
Estimated return time from major field trips: 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Estimated return time from daily field trips: 3:30 - 4:30pm
Daily Grace Period: 6:00pm - 6:05pm
(late fees $1 per minute beginning at 6:05pm)
CBFK Summer Academics
English/ Mathematics emphasis (8:30am - 11:30 am)
Kindergarten: Recognizing and sequencing numbers, counting, phonics, alphabet recognition, writing
1st - 2nd Grade: Addition (carrying), subtraction (regrouping), reading comprehension, oral reading,
penmanship, counting money
3rd - 4th Grade: Whole number concepts, mental math, money, multiplication, measurements,
reading comprehension, sentence structure, grammar, oral reading
5th -6th Grade: Reading Comprehension, Sentence Structure, Developing Paragraphs, Vocabulary
Development, Multiplication, Division, Ratios, Percentages, Integers, Area, Volume, and Decimals
7th - 9th Grade: Reading Comprehension, Sentence Structure and Grammar Analysis, Writing
Strategies, Vocabulary Development, Integers, Square Roots, Negative Exponents, Pre-Algebra, and Algebra (Slope, Monomials, Quadratic Equations, Algebraic Terminology)
Summer Payment Schedule
2010 Fees: Registration Fee: $90 per child (non-refundable)
Weekly Fee- $185 per child
$360 for two children
$525 for three children
*ONLY PAY FOR THE WEEKS YOUR CHILD ATTENDS*
CBFK does not charge extended care fees. We are open 7am-6pm
Make checks or money orders payable to College Bound for Kids or CBFK. Visa/Mastercard accepted. If cash payments are made, please pay directly to Mrs. Ford or Ms. Marguerette.
*Please note that all major field trips have an additional $25 fee. This fee must be paid Monday morning in addition to the weekly fee.
Once you pay the $90 registration fee your child is secured a spot for the entire summer. All payments for the week are due Monday morning upon arrival. Fees are not pro-rated due to absences.
Specialty Camps
Specialty camps take place in the morning during academic instruction. Students
attending specialty camps will still participate in the 4 field trips per week.

1. Complete all 3 forms: Registration/Emergency Forms and the Session Sign-Up Form ( the session sign-up form gives us an idea of how many students will be attending each week, once you have registered your child they may attend any weeks you would like.)
2. Submit Registration Payments: $90 per child
